Hulk brings victory in SPL with the first phase of the Millennium!
Season 2014 Hulk team start their new lineup. Even at the end of last season, it was decided to attract players on defense problematic position. Contracts were signed with the Ironmen team players Marcelo Margot and Alex Goldman. Furthermore foundation team at this year's Millennium - Шaroslav playing coach Alexander attack, two cadets from youth academy Hulk Ivan Berezyuk and Maxim Merezhany, as well as Andrew Mirolubov (unfortunately could not take part in the 1st stage ) . The first stage was to be illustrative and answer the question , whether in the state team in this format to achieve their goals. The answer is yes!
Hulk worthy passed its first test in France. In the group stage it was clear already that the team has great potential and can gain during the tournament.
After winning the first two games with the same score 4:1 in Copenhagen Ducks and Ronholt Blast our team solved the problem with early access to the next stage of the tournament. The third preliminary was interesting in terms of testing a strong contender . FiveStar Lleida team set a serious problem for this season, as evidenced by the existence of such authority in the paintball team roster as Nicky Cuba, Damian Ryan, Kevin Rudulph. The match was very interesting and rich, the teams exchanged alternately be won points. A key moment in the match occurred when the score was 3-2 in our favor when 40 seconds before the end of the game we were four to one. Player of despair ran out on our snake, in our opinion was eliminated hit our player, which is also shoots him. As a result, strange decision of the judges, who gave point to opponent and moved the game into overtime. Overtime was a contender for the 3:4 final score.
In 1 /8 played by the well-known opponent of last season , Drammen Solid. Not an easy match, but quite convincing victory 4-2.
In the quarterfinals convincing victory over Amsterdam Heat, who in 2012 played in the CPL, 4-0.
In the semifinals, we met with substantial effort ML Kings. Three American Pro players and Slava Shturmas able to compete with any team, including the CPL, so we did not have any illusions regarding the prospects for an easy victory in this match. We knew that to win the one who made fewer mistakes. As expected, the match was incredibly emotional. First, when the score was 3:3, ML Kings could not realize their numerical advantage and the game ended by the time. In overtime, nerves gave our legionnaire, Alex Goldman, and in three to three game he unsuccessfully ran for the bunkering and, unfortunately, brought a penalty. What happened next, other than a miracle will not name. Last remaining in the field, Marcelo Margo was able to pull it seemed lost match alternately hit three players of the opposing team. Total incredibly nervous 4-3 victory!
In the final, besides Hulk, made it very strong Swedish team, Falkoping Mashive. They were not very pliable rival and intrigue in the game continued until the end.
